Hi.
Is the latest version (4.1.4518) compatible with PA5X?
Best regards,

Korg PA5X compatibility
Re: Korg PA5X compatibility
PA5X is currently NOT supported. Support will be added in the upcoming months, for future versions of PA Manager.
The PA5X no longer uses the .SET format. This has been changed to a .KST structure, which requires us to implement a totally new system. As a result, we need to start from zero and support the latest .KST structure, which would take couple of months in to 2023.

Re: Korg PA5X compatibility - Loading Sounds with Samples - If This Has Been Fixed Or not
To All,
Using PA manager, I created a simple PA4X set where I created a PA4X SET in for only sounds that have samples to them.
I then Import that Set through the PA5X to make the PA4X set to a PA5X set, per instructions on youtube and in the manual.
I then go to load the sounds, again that have multisamples for one sound, and nothing gets loaded.
using the same PA4X SET I created in PA manager, I plug in USB and load the sound to a position that I have free, and the sound gets loaded.
in other words, the PA Manager seemed to do its thing, when loading that set with the PA4X.
SO, is there anything that I am missing that someone could help me out with. btw, these samples are NOT locked in any way.
Or is there an issue with the Importing of a PA4X set to a PA5x issue. I did place this issue on the Korg Forums too, but I am hoping to both make folks aware of my trouble and maybe see if there is a work around for now.
I appreciate any guidance.
Thanks,
Taki

Hi
Are you converting the SET to a .KST on the PA5X.
Then loading that newly converted .KST on to the 5X ?

Yes...
I am going to try to transfer my PA4X styles and sounds to the PA5X.. Does the new software only look at PA5X set> And if yes, then what is the suggested way to get PA4X soudns and styles in using the previous version of korg manager>
Thanks

Hi,
You seem to be replying to a 2 yr old post. Perhaps next time, open a new post, so we don't mix up issues.
If you want to use your PA4X SET on the PA5X, then you would need to CONVERT the .SET in to the .KST format, using the PA5X.
