Workaround of merging Sets for PA4X V.3 Next

Post by Redwood » 13 Apr 2019, 06:57

The good feature of Korg PA Manager by merging Sets is first to check the available UserSounds and then if needed rearrange the voices in the styles if the usersounds are saved on the different slots.

Could i load all the needed UserSounds with the appropriate UserSamples from different Sets in the new big memory of PA4X directly on my instrument and save this Set.

Then load this Set in the PA Manager and optionaly rearrange the UserSounds and move them to the desired slots.

And the main thing: to load (or merge) the needed styles to this Set. The Pa Manager should check the available UserSounds and then make the remaping
of voices automaticly.

If i load this Set on my Korg Pa4X, i could load only Styles and UserSounds folders, but the PCM and KMP folder leave untouched.

Could it work ?

If you change the sound locations, then when you import the Styles, it would automatically check for existing sounds and just remap them accordingly.

Technically, it could work.
